Hang on, why on earth are we talking about GNR in a best 90's rock band thread, regardless of whether or not they qualify as a 90's band?

Why wouldn't they count to be 90s if this is the time they released some big titles of theirs? You are stupid to ignore them to be 90s (the time they became popular in many countries more than during late 80s) even if you do not like them; even if they were not the biggest in the 90s; even though they gave BIG concerts in the 90s, even though they were still very popular in the early 90s etc.

This thread is meant to be for good artists right? GNR's brand of feces doesn't deserve a place in this thread.

I'm not sure if you've posted outside of this thread and heard me say this before, but I think banking on popularity for anything but determining an artist's popularity is entirely irrelevant.

That is another story; they do exist in this thread because some people deny some facts concering their 90s successes or maybe even their existence in the 90s, even though they released more music in the early 90s than in late 80s, which would make them the same popular and listened if they had not released any album in the late 80s. I don't know etc.

Nah they existed in the 90s but started in the 80s, thus they are an 80s band. Pretty simple. You can suck for more than one decade and still be of the decade that you started in.

According to many lists of bands, they are 90s, so...

http://www.ranker.com/crowdranked-li...ts-of-the-_90s

http://www.thetoptens.com/artists-bands-90s/

Not in the top ten, but... still...

Wow

It sure is hard to agree on a definition of a 90's band!

The thread's title is "Best 90's rock band", so if a band sucked mondo ass, as GNR did, then they are not valid to the thread at hand.
