"Dumb" is just a great, laidback, catchy, little pop tune. Its simplicity makes it chill.

"Rooster" is dull ****. The verses are a snoozefest, the chorus is barely any better, and that thing that Layne Staley does sometimes, where he does his best to impersonate Axl Rose, is in full effect and it's annoying as **** cause I want to punch Axl Rose in the face every time he opens his mouth for any reason.
