It's really more of an indie album imo.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Exactly. But then again, the beauty of Fugazi is partially made up of their diversity. Every album is so different.

It should be about what's the better post-hardcore album, not which is the most representative post-hardcore album.

I just think the absolute essential album of a genre should not only be of seriously high quality, but embody the genre itself. I don't always vote like this, but I do think the Fugazi album we choose in the end should encompass both quality and representation.

Post-hardcore is about evolving beyond hardcore, so maybe we shouldn't be concerned with an album encompassing a genre trying to surpass another genre. It would kind of defeat the point.

I suppose your right. One of my pet peeves is people who put rules on punk as a whole.

At the same time, I guess in that sense the best Fugazi album to represent post-hardcore in general would be the most "evolved," even if it's not the highest quality.

I vote The Argument because it is their best album and you're wrong for having a different opinion.

I guess my vote goes to In on the Killer Taker ATM. Might change that vote, but for now I'll throw in with that awesome album.
