I would say Tool is the Radiohead of metal music, even though I'm a big fan of Radiohead. They're both overrated and their fans praise them as being super innovative and unique but that's only because they've never really dug any deeper than the surface level of the genres which they are both the poster boys of (prog metal for Tool, alt rock for Radiohead.)

That is what it means actually.

Opiate is a pretty ****ing great album but the rest of their discography pales in comparison.

I've given up on the "i'm right and you're wrong" argument. It doesn't go anywhere, so agreeing with certain parts of the argument that I don't 100% agree with is better for both sides. Doesn't end in any salty attitude.
