1. Radiohead - OK Computer
2. Nirvana - In Utero
3. R.E.M. - Automatic for the People
4. The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
5. Weezer - Weezer
6. The Smiths - The Smiths
7. U2 - Achtung Baby
8. Soundgarden - Superunknown
9. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication
10. Muse - Origin of Symmetry

I think we should leave alternative the way it is. It represents seriously larger names than Ween. But if we had to switch, I'd say either RHCP goes. I'd also swap Siamese Dream with Mellon Collie.

Is Muse big enough to warrant their spot on the list?

I don't like them, but I think they've earned their spot on the list.

We should have at least one Muse album. They're good enough, and big enough.

Actually, why not take RHCP off alternative and put it on a rap rock list?

1. RHCP - Californication
2. Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill
3. Urban Dance Squad - Life 'n Perspectives of a Genuine Crossover
4. 311 - Music
5. Kazik na Żywo - Porozumienie ponad podziałami
6. Clawfinger - Deaf Dumb Blind

All I got. Honestly, I think RHCP is more alternative than anything. Still, Ween's definitely earned a spot.

They've earned their spot more than Muse imo. I don't see them as giants of the alternative scene in the same way that I do with Ween.

Incubus - S.C.I.E.N.C.E.

By being very big and influential among those who like radio alternative. You don't see me calling for Genesis' removal from the prog list despite them being garbage.

Alternative is a pretty big ****ing umbrella, and I'm sure we can find other "big and influential" bands that aren't ****.
