No. Also not really college rock. College rock=80's indie/alt.

Is "free rock" even a thing? When I Google it all I get is "free rock" download links.

Free jazz with rock/metal elements or metal/rock with free jazz influences. I've seen the term before but google searches are befuddled with other nonsense. Listen to the albums and tell me there isn't a cohesive genre there; most of them are better than 75% of these archives anyway.
