I think it wasn't immediately obvious to the mod who moved it, that it was supposed to be a thread with reviews, instead of just a request for recommendations.
If you want, I could try to restore it as a thread with a more clear title and move this review and the recs already given there.
Oh Yes. That would be nice, thank you.

Done.
I hope I didn't forget any posts.
Also changed the thread title, so there won't be any future confusion. Hope you don't mind.

New Bermuda by Deafheaven

One of my favorite modern metal bands and my favorite of their releases. Most label them as black-metal, some dispute that. Regardless, the vocals are clearly inspired by the genre, yet they do also incorporate elements of blackgaze and post-rock. Anyway, without rambling on any further, it's a great album and I'm intrigued to hear your thoughts!

Sewn Mouth Secrets by Soilent Green. Combo grindcore and sludge in similar vein of Acid Bath and Eyehategod.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
