The thread though was destined to stray from the topic. A discussion about Rammstein could only go on for so long. Really not much there to talk about.
Damn, even CN doesn't like Rammstein. I guess that's the final nail in the coffin.

Not sure if I should say thank you or call you a son of a b!tch. Because that's a compliment and insult in one.

Our tastes aren't that far apart.

I agree. Just wonder why ALL the hate. I mean, how do forum users actually set the bar to what's good and what's not!? Me, I would never call a band with millions of fans "Rubbish". I would simply say they're not my cup of tea. Why the hate boys?

Restraint isn't exactly our 'cup of tea' around here. If we're not a fan of something. We'll let you know about it in pretty blatant words.

I'll add as well that no matter the size of a bands fan base, that does not just conveniently mean they're not rubbish or sh!t. That's just a lot of people with maybe lower standards toward the music they listen to.

So in short, this band is like a dick in the ear; sticky, annoying, unpleasant.

Why is the size of a band's fanbase relevant?

Hitler had lots of followers. Rammstein has lots of followers. Therefore, Rammstein = Hitler.

And by the logic of our friend Trip777. All of us who didn't like Hitler should just ignore what he did in history and not say he was an evil man. Leave his followers alone! Because we're meanies...or something.
