One would think, or at least I would think, that you'd know what was implied by 'literally a flash in the pan' due to the band being well known for their pyrotechnics during their live shows. Get with the program Frown, you're quicker than that.

And I have always been neutral about these guys. Kind of like songs here and there, never could actually consider them very good, maybe just this overblown mediocre band somehow pegged as this pioneering band of a genre ripe with industrial influence. I think if they had hit the scene maybe ten years later than they did. Then the band wouldn't be so renowned or regarded in such a positive way by so many. Let's be honest though. Not the first mediocre act to get lucky and have a so far successful 20+ year run.

I mean. Linkin Park anyone? Not a 20+ year band but getting there.

Still mad at them for ruining an otherwise awesome scene in "Lost Highway" with their terrible music.

Sometimes people can't leave well enough alone. I feel your pain.

Not to mention that they're even more painful to listen to when you actually understand German.

My brother had one of his friends over when I was in, I think it was 8th grade, and they were in our room blaring Rammstein's Du Hast like it was the most glorious song ever recorded. I took the cd out of the player and broke it in half. My mother grounded me for two weekends. It was worth it.

We sure had difficult childhoods.
My dad had this song on an otherwise musically very different mixtape he made for himself. It was unpleasant as hell when I was in the car with him and it suddenly started playing.

Haha. I would have tossed the tape out of the window. The torments of childhood were a b*tch, weren't they?

You really wouldn't want to piss off a Russian dad.
I've learned from early on to be pretty tolerant of people listening to terrible music around me anyway.
Brightened my childhood and subsequent life considerably.
