Out of towner interested in Maryland Deathfest
 

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone can give me any idea what it would be like to get a hotel in Baltimore and go to the Maryland Deathfest by myself.

Is it like scary as **** walking back to the hotel alone at night?

What's the atmosphere like in the venues?

Is it a well run festival?

Is it easy to get from venue to venue?

I'm a man around 50 years old, btw.

Do they have bleechers on the side or do you just have to stand or sit in the dirt for hours on end?

I've never been myself, but I am familiar with Baltimore. Looks like one of the venues is Ram's Head...that particular area is usually packed with college-aged kids, so unless you are worried about being accosted by hipsters, I think you should be ok. Depends on where your hotel is as well. Baltimore itself is not really that scary. Well, some parts are...but I think those parts are pretty easy to avoid.

I will say I personally love Ram's Head as a venue...really nice place.
