Not a big fan of Slayer. Sorry.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Probably a good thing. Their Satanic messages will put thoughts in your head.

Lol. I mean, I listen to some black metal and generally couldn't care less about religion. Slayer just comes off as cheesy and stereotypical to me. The whole AC/DC effect. More of that howfastIcanplay wankery that comes with some metal. I prefer my metal dark, slow, and noisy. Or if I'm gonna hear riffs and solos, it has to come out of blues. That said, I enjoy some thrash, and some death, just not Slayer. I feel like their stuff is way too monotonous for me.

I'm many things, but I'm not an all-American church loving conservative boy.

I know. I was kidding.

I mostly love Slayer for the pure energy and the way everything interlocks rhythmically. Lombardo is pretty fantastic and I feel like Slayer were the first metal band to start taking the drums somewhere interesting.

Wasn't totally sure. I know that with all these cult member reading posts on here it can be hard to tell.

I'm not against getting into them, but from what I've heard they just don't appeal well to me.

Even non-Slayer fans should be able to acknowledge this song's brilliance.

Haha, I just realized I wasn't talking to Frownland.

Now that I'm aware of that... I don't know your tastes, but I think Slayer are worth a chance for anyone with an appreciation of loud music. If you think they're cheesy, keep in mind that they are not a band that takes themselves very seriously at all. I actually view them as sort of being metal's version of The Ventures or Dick Dale, but instead of songs referencing surfing and hot rods, they reference war and serial killers and whatnot.

You thought I would bad things to say about Slayer? I'm offended, quite honestly.

I couldn't bad things to say if I wanted to.
