Jar of Flies and Dirt are both rock classics.

AiC are one of those band I wanted to like but they were always so disappointing. The only thing they released that was worthwhile was Jar of Flies and even that peters out toward the end. GnR actually managed to released two good LPs.

UYI was pretty good. UYII just managed to be great, and Appetite was well worth it, being sad proof that they once had talent.
As far as AiC goes, the only great official release is Dirt, but they have a great Bootleg: Bad Dream. Their live shows at that time were fantastic. Plus, I've seen some really bad GNR, never AiC.

Staley was well on his way to death but still managed to pull this off.
