I am being a "fuddy duddy" for posting a comical picture of Niel Peart pawning Kanye West? I don't understand. I got a chuckle from it. I thought some Niel Peart fan, if MusicBanter has a Niel Peart fan, would think it's funny too.

It's a "FB meme." Culture Shock mentioned a "FB meme" so I posted one. I don't understand how that is being "fuddy dudd."

(edit: You understand it's a fake conversation between Kanye and Niel, right?)

Why should I answer? It's seems like a load question, where you have a insult ready for either answer.

In light of this drumming argument, I feel compelled to post this

One of the highlights of that show.

Drumming aside, let's talk about his lyrics. Whether you like his themes or prose, you gotta admit the guy has always had a way with words.

Days of barefoot freedom
Racing with the waves
Nights of starlit secrets
Crackling driftwood flames
Drinking by the lighthouse
Smoking on the pier
Still we saw the magic
Fading every year

Everyone would gather
On the twenty fourth of May
Sitting in the sand
To watch the fireworks display
Dancing fires on the beach
Singing songs together
Though it's just a memory
Some memories last forever
