I don't care how downtuned they are, unless you're working with some cheap earbuds or computer speakers then thedowngoing should be obviously more brutal than deathcore. The higher treble should be causing your ears almost physical pain, whereas too much downtuning just makes your music sound muddy and flat (as does much deathcore).

But if you want some death metal...









And if you want some downtuned hell...

Good to see you back Jackhammer. Infest is definitely one of the best with regard to extreme. I think Los Crudos is very close to falling under those guidelines also.
