Default It's Not Looking Well For Jim "Sadist" Of Nunslaughter

This is beyond sad, Jim Sadist of Nunslaughter is not doing well and the future doesn't look too bright at the moment:

Quote:
Some of you may have heard this depressing news already as it has been ongoing for about a month now. Early in September, Jim Sadist of Nunslaughter suffered a stroke. He was treated in the hospital and had a generally good prognosis. Unfortunately, the problem with strokes is that they are highly unpredictable. Not long after the initial stroke, Jim had a second stroke, presenting as a seizure, which hit the opposite side of his brain. He has been in a coma since, and the prognosis has gone from positive to pretty damn hopeless. It's still too early for a RIP post, but it looks like if he comes out of this coma he will be paralyzed and vegetative, so he's pretty much gone. This is pretty heartbreaking news as a long time fan of Nunslaughter, one of the bands that initially got me digging into underground death metal. Jim was a really cool and down to earth guy with some hilarious stage banter. Hoping for the best for the rest of the band, and that Jim doesn't have to suffer extended care without any hope of recovery.

Well, family has decided Jim will be removed from the machines later today. It is for the best but still very, very sad news.
