Although you are still very confused about differntiating metal genres, you've probably listened to more metal albums than me at this point. You've certainly heard more black metal albums than I have, and I've barely touched trad. metal for the most part.

Thanks for the compliment, but I have a light year to go before I'm as well versed in the genre as say Batty, Frown or Janszoon, and probably more than a parsec before I'm up to Unknown Soldier's level! Anyway, I may have listened to more albums than you, but listening to one Overkill or Death Angel or Darkthrone album does not mean you know them. So there's a whole slew of stuff I don't know about metal, some subgenres I'm entirely ignorant of, and for that reason I'll be seeking help for this article, to premier next year on Metal Month IV.

Man, I have fallen behind badly!
Day Thirteen: Kicking off with a guy called Zakhm in "The International Language of Metal", then "Metal Goes to the Movies" again with WASP, Zep, GNR and Anthrax, ans we check out more "Heavy Metal Honeyz" with In This Moment, Butcher Babies, Girlschool and Eyes Set to Kill among others. Day Fourteen: Finishing off Ninetales's Top Ten with Rosetta, Immolation and Blut Aus Nord, then we cross over into Syria for the next instalment of "The International Language of Metal" to sample Buried By the Last Tragedy, and more Judas Priest as we look at Point of Entry with another Drudkh album in our "Freshly Forged" section. Day Fifteen: Can Bitches Sin really be some of "The Metal that made Me"? How embarrassing! More metal heroes get "Kartoonified" as we look at Spinal Tap's slot on The Simpsons, Candlemass features in "Don't Listen to that --- Listen to this!" and we're nearing the end of our Iron Maiden top forty. Our first Guest Reviewer is that bastion of the Church, Ned Flanders, and we look into the career of Jens Johansson in "The Long and Winding Road". Day Sixteen: Faith No More's new album gets a listen in "Freshly Forged", Screaming for Vengeance is our Judas Priest album and then we're back on the high seas for "Ports of Call", to check out The Dread Crew of Oddwood. "Metal Goes Pop" again and we're looking at Turisas, Lacuna Coil and Disturbed among others, then it's time to return to the horror (hah) of The Batlord's Torture Chamber, to see if he can improve on his pretty dismal performance so far. This time, it's Anaal Nakhrath he's trying out on me. Day Seventeen: "Freshly Forged" takes us into the realm of progressive metal for the new one from Kamelot, while Abidetherein are the Syrian band next up in "The International Language of Metal", then Defenders of the Faith explodes across our "Featured Artiste" section, while there's another reprint for "The Metal that made Me" with Ozzy's Diary of a Madman. Finally we open the last of our Members Top Ten lists, this time from Wpnfire, with Annimnal Machine, Exhorder and Mercyful Fate. Day Eighteen: "Don't listen to that --- listen to this!" has me checking out Bong's Stoner Rock, then back to the cold wilds we go for "What's that all about?" as we look into more Atmospheric Black Metal, this time from Arthemesia, Nyktaglia and Wolves in the Throne Room. More gratuitous boobshots with "Heavy Metal Honeyz" featuring Huntress, Taylor Momsen, Lita Ford and Judas Priestess among others, then our second "More than Words" section features Pain of Salvation.

Day nineteen:
"Freshly Forged" comes to June, where we look into the new one from High On Fire, "The International Language of Metal" features Ambrotype and Turbo is our Judas Priest album today. Back to Wpnfire's top ten we go with Paradise Lost and Om, and Metal Massacre III gets the lowdown in "Where are they now?" Day Twenty Another new album, this time from Paradise Lost, then we're back "When worlds collide", to check out, um, unblack metal? Finally, "Metal Goes Pop" one last time. Day Twenty-One Our last Syrian band is The Hourglass in "The International Language of Metal", Ram it Down is the Priest album and one suggested by Violet, Toxic Holocaust's An Overdose of Death gets a spin before we return to The Simpsons to see Aerosmith "Kartoonified!"
