Audioslave and Incubus aren't bad either.
I'd consider Jagged Little Pill more straight-up pop with a post-grunge facelift to draw in the wrist-cutting teen girls. Power pop might actually be a better classification. But since post-grunge sucks and Alanis rules, I say go for it.

And as far as no wave...

1. James Chance and the Contortions - Buy
2. Swans - Filth
3. Sonic Youth - Confusion Is Sex
4. Glenn Branca - The Ascension
5. Mars - 78
6. Teenage Jesus and the Jerks - Everything
7. DNA - A Taste of DNA
8. No New York (actually a live studio compilation of the Contortions, Teenage Jesus, Mars, and DNA, but it's a legendary document of the genre, so I'd say it's required.)

That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge, as it was a pretty small, short-lived scene, with most bands never even putting out a proper album.

I'm not having any of that cruddy Eno crap! /s

As was pointed out in the previous thread, all of those bands are already represented on the no wave list.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

But it's an ALBUM survivor thread, not a band survivor thread, and that's not actually an album by any of those four. It's also easily the most famous and one of the most important no wave albums of all time, so not including it on a technicality would be a serious oversight.
