In this case though, would Technic mind putting in Vs. as my suggestion for the wild card list? As TLP is the one who suggested there be an art punk list in the first place and he is after all running this thread, I don't see your justification for calling him or anyone else a poser... |

First off, Art Punk is now created, and there's an open slot on Proto-Punk.
Second, Post-Punk Revival is up there, with one empty slot (because I added Savages' "Silence Yourself". Quote:

I threw Hex Enduction Hour on for The Fall. And I decided to take '77 off in favor of Pere Ubu, first because '77 is a bit more New Wave, second because we already have two Talking Heads albums, and because Modern Dance is probably the objectively better LP.

"Post punk refers to music that draws inspiration from elements of punk (such as its provocation, musical urgency, or DIY approach) while moving beyond its sonic and conceptual boundaries, and affiliations."

Exactly. Post-Punk does have a sound. You wouldn't even confuse a POst-Punk album with a classic Punk album like Ramones or The Clash.

That goes directly against the last part of that which says "moving beyond its sonic and conceptual boundaries and affiliations." You're putting an uncageable animal in a box.
