Milo Goes to College appears on Punk Rock, Melodic Hardcore, Skate Punk. On my Skate Punk one, let's replace it with another Descendants album like "I don't want to grow up", and on the Punk Rock one, let's add Wipers' Is This Real since we have no Wipers albums.
Bad Religion's Suffer appears on Melodic Hardcore and Punk Rock. On Punk Rock, let's replace it with Against the Grain. Actually, I'll just post this. 1. Ramones - Ramones 2. The Clash - London Calling 3. Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols 4. Xray Spex - Germ Free Adolescents 5. Bad Religion - Against the Grain 6. X - Los Angeles 7. Wipers - Is This Real 8. Minutemen - Double Nickels on the Dime 9. Buzzcocks - Single Going Steady 10. The Damned - Machine Gun Etiquette Skate Punk 1. Bad Religion - No Control 2. The Offspring - Smash 3. Descendants - Everything Sucks (Tristan's guess) 4. NOFX - Punk in Drublic 5. Propagandhi - Less Talk, More Rock 6. Face to Face - Don't Turn Away 7. The Vandals - Hitler Bad, Vandals Good 8. Pennywise - About Time 9. Lagwagon - Let's Talk About Feelings 10. Millencolin - Pennybridge Pioneers Melodic Hardcore 1. Bad Religion - Suffer 2. Descendents - Milo Goes to College 3. H2O - F.T.T.W. 4. Gorilla Biscuits - Start Today 5. The Adolescents - The Adolescents 6. 88 Fingers Louie - Back on the Streets 7. The Flatliners - Cavalcade 8. The Falcon - Unicornography 9. Propagandhi - Potemkin City Limits 10. Strike Anywhere - Change is a Sound How's this? Are there any duplicates?

It's pointless to replace one Bad Religion album with another. I say take Fresh Fruit off of hardcore and put it in punk, and then add Cro-Mags' The Age of Quarrel to hardcore.

You could replace the Dark Day album with Confusion is Sex in the no wave battle, especially since CIS is undeniably a no wave record while Windows is arguable.

I back this up 100%. When it comes to hardcore, Dead Kennedys are pretty debatable. The only real hardcore album they did was In God We Trust Inc, while the rest sounds like surf punk or post-punk to me.

Alright, did both of those things. I'm thinking about getting this started pretty soon for two reasons:
1. Everybody's anxious about it. 2. I've actually reached the 20000 character limit. I tried trimming the OP down a bit, but I'll pry still have issues with it. So with that in mind, I'd like to begin voting on our first battle. Just so we're not all over the place, I want to trim down the voting selections, so let's all throw in some suggestions for the first battle. As for me, I'd enjoy starting with Post-Rock.

Post rock it is (it's your own thread, you can do what you want with it).

I'd like to allow the community some decisions rather than be a totalitarian ruler. Especially because the general forum has had a lot of input towards this thread. (Though I suppose your intentions are to begin as soon as possible.)

Not to be a jerk, but I don't think post-rock is vey representative of rock in general, and I think we should start off with something more representative of rock, it's origins, it's popularity, and the whole of it. I personally think maybe blues rock or hard rock would be a good start.
However, if everyone wants post-rock, I like post-rock enough.
