In the interest of keeping things moving I could fill in for Tristan once, if nobody minds? Seems like everyone who's planned on voting has done so, at any rate

Alright then
As a result of the first round of votes, Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Gentle Giant are both out, having received 4 votes apiece.

Round 2
1. Yes - Close to the Edge
2. Camel - Mirage
3. Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed
5. King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
6. Änglagård - Hybris
7. Steve Hackett - Voyage of the Acolyte
9. Electric Light Orchestra - Eldorado
10. Genesis - Foxtrot

Vote 4 off. I'm gonna tentatively set the next deadline a week from now, in other words July 16. If someone wants the deadline extended then just say so, but I figure it'll be plenty since everyone involved has already heard all of the albums(?)

Question (as I can't remember): is this based on the albums we prefer, or on the ones we think are or should be regarded as better? In other words, do we vote with our heads or our hearts?

imo it should just be based on preference because I don't believe in the "objective" greatness of music compared to any other, but just vote whichever way you think is best, if you ask me

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
