I'm just trying to help expand upon something, like I usually do. I love punk, but I don't think I'm the guy for art punk. When I think art punk, all I think is Television.

When you got the time, go on a psychedelia marathon. It's a fantastic way to spend time. I can send you a list of my personal favorites.

Love all of these artists, and have heard some others from the genre, but haven't been that impressed. I could add them, but I think it would be better for someone else to fill out the list with albums they actually enjoy. I think Weather Report is usually considered an essential but I don't care for it.
I'd say Birds of Fire instead, just because of its lasting impact. The one you have listed is great too though. Zappa's Hot Rats, Weather Report, Larry Coryell's Spaces, and something by Chic Corea would all be honorable inclusions.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

So far, no suggestions. I'm going to get on Jazz Fusion soon.

Anybody interested in Soft Rock? Carole King and the like?

Changelog: Added Jazz Fusion list, only 7 on there so far. It currently reads:

Jazz Fusion

1. Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
2. Return to Forever - Light as a Feather
3. Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
4. Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Inner Mounting Flame
5. Al Di Meola - Elegant Gypsy
6. Soft Machine - Third
7. Weather Report - Heavy Weather

You may notice I've decided to move Soft Machine to jazz fusion, which means there's an open slot on the prog rock list. We will have to deliberate over who goes there.

Personally, I nominate Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells.

I'd recommend Supertramp's Crime of the Century for that empty prog spot.
