I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

TECHNIC'S MOVE
1. You guys are getting really, really terrible. Piper is already on the Psych Rock list.
2. I put 13th Floor on the Psych list.
3. I posted the Neo-Psych and Arena Rock lists
4. I replaced Dream Theater with Bowie on the Rock Opera.

YOUR MOVE
You can...
1. Find some album to replace Mindcrime, as it's already been in the Metal Survivor thread (which is not optimal), and definitely represents metal more than rock.
2. Decide to leave it, because you don't care enough or you genuinely want a not-exactly-rock album on there.
3. Make a Jazz-Fusion list? (Include Bitches Brew?)

/s

If we want a list for those two genres, we'll be combining them under one name (Ima go with Acid Rock, sorry J). And you'll have to come up with a list yourselves.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

Crap, I'm dumb, especially since I wrote that list in the first place.

How about Jesus Christ Superstar?

Personally, I find that a little rude. I care about rock operas, and I had nothing to do with the metal album survivor. Saying I don't care enough is finger-pointing becuase I'm the one who proposed the rock opera list in the first place. I put that album there because it is a ROCK opera. It may be more metal, but metal evolved directly out of rock. Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and Uriah Heep are some of the bands that helped to form the sound, and later rock acts like Judas Priest and Motorhead took it and made it heavier, thus creating heavy metal.

I'm not saying this to keep Mindcrime on the list. I would've likely chosen something else if it were easy. In fact, putting this list together was a little hard, since I can only use one album for a band. And nobody ever told me about what's going to happen with Ziggy Stardust. In fact, I would actually prefer Ziggy over Mindcrime. But saying I don't care has no real grounds, especially since I wrote two lists to contribute. I'm probably one of the biggest rock opera fans on this website. But trying to find popular choices is hard enough.

Listen, if you can come up with a list, I'm cool with adding as many genres as you want.

I'm just trying to help expand upon something, like I usually do. I love punk, but I don't think I'm the guy for art punk. When I think art punk, all I think is Television.

Incomplete fusion list:
Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
Return to Forever - Light as a Feather
Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters
Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Inner Mounting Flame
Al Di Meola - Elegant Gypsy
Soft Machine - Third

Love all of these artists, and have heard some others from the genre, but haven't been that impressed. I could add them, but I think it would be better for someone else to fill out the list with albums they actually enjoy. I think Weather Report is usually considered an essential but I don't care for it.

I'd say Birds of Fire instead, just because of its lasting impact. The one you have listed is great too though. Zappa's Hot Rats, Weather Report, Larry Coryell's Spaces, and something by Chic Corea would all be honorable inclusions.
