The Sonics did the same thing (except better) five years earlier, and Jon Spencer innovates on the genre by adding a jazzy undertone.

Tell me TV Eye isn't the best goddamn garage (hell even hard rock as a whole) song of all time.

And jazzy? Funky yes but not jazzy :/

It's pretty cool, but far from the best hard rock or even garage rock song of all time. Also I prefer Raw Power.

If you think this doesn't have any substance then you're a cretin. The entire B-side of Fun House is the best thing the Stooges ever did.





And I guess I'll go with the Sonics again. I love that album but I probably come back to Orange a bit more these days.

Meh. Stooges are like the the pop punk of garage. They try so hard to be edgy but never quite get there.
