Alright, two things here:

First, vote on the next battle:

Math Rock or Symphonic Prog

Vote ends July 22.

Second, the new battle commences!

1. Lightning Bolt - Wonderful Rainbow
2. Boredoms - Pop Tatari
3. Unsane - Scattered, Smothered, and Covered
4. Big Black - Songs About F**king
5. The Jesus and Mary Chain - Psychocandy
6. Harry Pussy - Harry Pussy
7. Fush*tsusha - 悲愴
8. Les Rallizes Dénudés - Heavier Than a Death in the Family
9. Cows - Sexy Pee Story
10. The Jesus Lizard - Goat

Vote 4 off. Vote ends July 22. (Tentative, let me know if you need more time.)

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

I listen to Bill Orcutt's solo stuff (crazy jangly freak folk) a lot more these days, but goddamn I forgot how ****ing awesome that Harry Pussy album is.

I greatly enjoy both math rock and symphonic. But I'll vote symphonic since I'm in a prog mood.

I'll have to listen to a few more of these noise albums. I'm only familiar with three of them. And most of the noise rock I've heard consists of Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth, and Nirvana bootlegs. I still greatly feel that Sister should be on that list somewhere.

Math Rock

Sorry I haven't been as active with these threads, I've been lazy enough listening to new music this summer and putting time restrictions on thst would work out even less. I really want to though so I'll try to find time.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

If I had to pick a prediction... either Big Black or JaMC.

If it's only going to be another few days, I'd be glad to extend this first round for you.
