I have no idea what's going to win. I'm not entirely into new wave, so I'm not really that experienced in it. Plus my only good guess doesn't even make an appearance here (Remain in Light). I will say this. Speaking in Tongues was an excellent choice for more "defining" new wave albums as I feel it does almost as good a job as Remain in Light did.

My guess is The Cars. First, because it's one of my favorite albums ever, second because it essentially defined New Wave as a genre. Also, all of the hit singles can't hurt.

It's the hit singles that lost the prediction for me. I think overplay might be a factor in the votes.
