lookin for sum kickass bands

i have my own bands and music i like, but theres just sumthing else that i need. the only bands i can really get into are dimmu, modest mouse, SOAD, and disturbed...

i want more bands like modest mouse and more modern rockish. ive been thru all the metal and death/thrash/speed etc metals, and its just bleh.

lookin for sum nice suggestions, old or new, with a nice mellow ring, or sum good old new age rock.

my top three would probs be

radiohead
muse
tool

have a go with them to start with... i would post more but im too lazy :D

Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, Mr. Bungle.

all the ones mentiond suck except tool and radiohead.

Mellow yet rock? hmmm Porcupine Tree, if you can find stuff on them (probably need kazaa or limewire to get a good range) but definitely worth a go, awesomely artistic.

You probably have no clue who QOTSA, Kyuss, and Mr. Bungle are.
If you want suggestions then don't shoot people down immediately.
