Default Soaked in Bleach (Kirk Cobain)

Normally I don't believe in conspiracy theories, but I always felt that this one had some compelling evidence, so with release of Soaked in Bleach, I thought I would throw it out there....thoughts?

Just a brain fart in making the title, Unfortunately I can't edit it.

It would be interesting to hear the thoughts of those who believe the speculation and why, otherwise the thread can sink.

This is an intriguing, completely new idea to me, William, so I had a look on good old Wikipedia. I was surprised to see that this conspiracy theory has been around at least since 1998, when a documentary called Kurt & Courtney was made: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_%26_Courtney
Most startling witness for the prosecution (of Courtney Love):

Quote:
Hank Harrison, Courtney Love's father, is interviewed, and states he also believes that Cobain may have been killed in a conspiracy organised by Love. He has written two books about Cobain's death.
Have you seen the movie or the documentary William?

No I haven't seen it yet. I'm not sure if I will to be honest but...

The theory has been around since the death of Kurt Cobain, largely as a result of Tom Grant, the private investigator who was hired by Courtney Love to find Kurt Cobain when he went missing

Tom Grant believes she had him offed, so I guess a large part of the theory rests on whether you think he is a legit guy or a total pinhead.

There are a lot of strange coincidences surrounding the case like the passing of El Duce, but it could all be random probability. Still its fun to speculate lol.

I remember talking about this with other fans when I first started listening to Nirvana. Seems like a bunch of fluff to me, especially the documentary trailer. I highly doubt Love would kill Cobain. But, I could see the appeal in faking one's death in order to get away from the spotlight. Especially Kurt, who obviously hated being famous.

Well I haven't seen the documentary, and so people don't get the wrong idea, I myself don't believe that Courtney had Kurt knocked off.

However, unlike other conspiracy theories (911 inside job ect) I do think this one falls into the realm of possibility.

Both Kurt's ex grandfather and Courtney Love's dad believe that she was somehow involved in his demise. The former police chief of Seattle has also stated that the case should be re-opened.

So to be honest, I just find the whole thing kind of interesting, like a detective novel.

^ Exactly how I feel about it too, and as you say it seems to be within the realms of possibility.

More opinions, just in case you've missed this one on Youtube:-
