Don't remember what I posted earlier in this thread, but I'd say that the genre isn't inherently sexist any more than any other. However, any genre dominated by testosterone-imbalanced, young men is going to have its fair share of sexism. It doesn't help that the vast majority of female-fronted metal bands are often gimmicky, symphonic metal bands targeted toward sadsack goths, teenage girls, and poseurs who don't listen to real metal. But Girlschool and Thorr's Hammer defy this unfortunate trend like a mother****er.

I've been to a metal concert lately, for the first time in almost ten years.
So much hyper-masculine behaviour to compensate for being a huge nerd...
Yeah, most of it is tongue-in-cheek and with a big pinch of self-awareness, but still kinda annoying.

Huge nerds...Take a look at their musical tastes. Most of the time they listen to symphonic/goth fake metal or deathcore/metalcore. Again, fake metal like this
