There isn't much happening just now so i thoguht i'd post something
What do you guys think of the gorgeous and crazy SOAD guitarist.

I think he has written some classic songs and riffs and think he is a complete genius. He is my hero and is such an amazing person. To me he is a rock god and i don't care if no one agrees.

Do you guys agree or have any views on this at all

But seriously now.. Yeah he's alright. Not a "complete genius" though, thats going a tad too far. He's done some pretty memorable work, and he does make System complete... But, not complete genius. There's far, far better out there.

he is a hell of a performer and puts on a hell of a show! He, next to Tom Morello is my
favorite metal guitarist.

daron is awesome, but i, personally, think he should stay off the vocals

he makes good lyrics and plays the guitar well, but i prefer serj's vocals to be dominant

^I agree. Serj for dominance, but i think Daron suits his wee cameo roles like BYOB "Blast off its party time..." he sounds wicked when he does that and various other lines.

I wouldn't exagerate his guitar playing skills, he is no Django Reinhardt or Paco de Lucia or anything, but he's pretty damn good.
