Never said that. Actually I like live albums. What I said was I do not like reviewing live albums. This was an exception, as it was the very first Motorhead record I owned.

![]() 107. Trust - Repression - (1980) I haven't heard much French metal but I love this album. One of only a few put out by Trust in English as well as French versions, it just rocks from start to finish. Even the doom-tinged "Paris is still burning" sends shivers down my spine. ![]() 108. Cain's Dinasty - Madmen, Witches and Vampires - (2010) And while we're on the subject of foreign metal, those Spaniards sure know how to headbang! I've been impressed with Tierra Santa, Saratoga and these guys. I mean, come on: how can you not love an album with a song called "**** you forever!" ![]() ![]() Full review here: Madmen, Witches and Vampires review

![]() 109. Nightscape - Symphony of the Night - (2005) Amazingly, given the power of their debut, this Swedish power metal band only seem to have released the one album, and with that being ten years ago now I guess we're unlikely to hear from them again. Still, you owe it to yourself to give this one a listen.![]() More here Symphony of the Night review

![]() 110. Thin Lizzy - Thunder and Lightning - (1983) The final album from Lizzy prior to the untimely death of Phil Lynott, this is as great a swansong and farewell as any band could ever hope to produce. Even had they somehow known their leader was going to die, they could not have created a more fitting last studded fist to the world than this album. From the powerful opener and title track, through the fabulous "Cold sweat", the heart-wrenching "The sun goes down" and right to the final track, the unintentionally prophetic "Heart attack" which gives Lynott the final words "Mamma I'm dyin' dyin'!" this is a gem and you need to hear it.![]() More here Thunder and Lightning review
