My friend was talking about how much he hated metalcore like Attila and Asking Alexandria and took me up on some education when I told him that there's more to it than that. I dropped some Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Botch, Deadguy, Psyopus, Knut, Nostromo, Yakuza, Between the Buried and Me, Gaza, and Coalesce. He accused me of cheating because he liked all of them and they didn't fit cleanly into his stereotyped view of the genre.
I figured this would be the right thread to share that in.
