I also forgot how ****ing awesome the riff to "Skeletons of Society" is. OMG it's one of the best in all of metal. You could make an argument for Seasons in the Abyss being Slayer's best written album, but I never saw that as being the point behind Slayer. Slayer are about being ugly and brutal and ****ed up. Just because an album is more well-written than the others does not make the qualifications for Slayer's best album as far as I'm concerned.

If one Slayer album is more ****ed up than the other, than that makes it better. Straight up.
