I've been meaning to announce the next battle for a while, but work, school, real life, and my own crippling laziness have prevented this. Let's do progressive metal. If prog heads think this list doesn't reflect prog metal in its most Yes-worship-with-heavier-riffs form, then suck it. Only prog heads like that **** anyway, and if this was filled with it then no one would want to participate. I also wanted this to be diverse, as myopic 70s prog that just happens to be metal doesn't quite cut it in that regard.

Progressive Metal

1. Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime
2. Death - Symbolic
3. Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory
4. Voivod - Nothingface
5. Devin Townsend - Ocean Machine: Biomech
6. Opeth - Blackwater Park
7. Between the Buried and Me - Colors
8. Mastodon - Blood Mountain
9. Fates Warning - Awaken the Guardian
10. Enslaved - Vertebrae
