Side note: I'm also wondering if I should add a short, five band list of wild card albums that don't really fit into any genre, just so unique and awesome albums don't get the shaft due to genre Nazism. I could fit in Bathory's Hammerheart and Danzig III without having to shove them into battles that they don't entirely fit into (doom and alt metal respectively).

Depends on just how many I can come up with. They'd really have to be worthy of inclusion, as I don't want any filler bands. Mr. Bungle might be a good call? Like a bitch I still have yet to listen to a single Mr. Bungle song, but from everything you nerds say they don't sound like they fit in much of anywhere.
Off the top of my head... 1. Bathory - Hammerheart 2. Danzig - Danzig III 3. Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle 4. Venom - Black Metal (I could have put them in trad or black metal, but they're too far from black metal to comfortably fit, and I just didn't think of putting them in trad till it was too late)
