I don't know how Dio outlasted Sabbath. Aside Rainbow's Rising, H&H is the best album he's done vocals on.

And Powerslave is about my favorite trad metal album of all time.

What a dilemma! My favourite band versus my favourite album! Ah, goddamn it!
Never thought I'd say these words but...
voting off Maiden.

Don't judge me!

How we ended up voting between Powerslave and Holy Diver as the two best traditional metal albums of all time seems so strange to me. Powerslave is an obvious competitor, but Holy Diver as the second best trad metal album ever? What happened?

Anyway, voting off Dio.

And to think Angel Witch wasn't even on the list. Balls to the Wall? What a whack choice.

I think everyone already knew from the beginning that Powerslave was going to win no question. Can you think of another album on the list that would have given it a run for its money?

Screaming for Vengeance comes to mind.

No I agree that Powerslave was obviously going to win, that's why I said it was an obvious competitor, I'm only surprised that Holy Diver made it past like... 3 rounds.

How come you guys are giving Holy Diver such a bad rap? It's one of the quintessential metal albums, almost perfect, and I've even voted against Powerslave for it, and you know what a Maiden fanboy I am! How is it you people don't rate it?
