I've heard the name, but have never listened to them. I'll probably give them a shot since I'm in that mood ATM. You should definitely check out Beneath the Remains (I'm assuming that's what you're talking about), and Arise as well. I've not always been the biggest early Sep fan, and Chaos AD is still their best, but those albums are pretty killer. But totally different from what you're used to hearing from them, if Roots and Chaos AD are your only reference points.

That battle isn't up for now. The current groove metal one is. I'm just putting that death thrash one up for consideration and improvement. It will be up at a later date. It's not even finalized.
