It's upsetting having to vote for Meshuggah - even though I prefer all of their albums that have come since, Nothing is probably the most quintessentially Meshuggah of them all. Although I have to admit the quality doesn't hold up throughout the album. From here on every vote will feel like I'm chopping off a finger.

Alright, just two more left, I can almost vote now. Might just try to chug them out tonight and tomorrow.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

Okay, so this is my current death thrash list, but I'm considering other albums to replace a couple ones already on the list.

Death Thrash

1. Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death
2. Sodom - Agent Orange
3. Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence
4. Massacra - Enjoy the Violence
5. Possessed - Seven Churches
6. Death - Scream Bloody Gore
7. Devastation - Idolatry
8. Protector - Shedding of Skin
9. Solstice - Solstice
10. Sepultura - Beneath the Remains

For consideration

Slaughter - Strappado
Merciless - Unbound
Infernäl Mäjesty - None Shall Defy

Well, they're kind of death metal. Death's first album is still thrash enough to qualify, but not so much Deicide's debut.

You sure make fine distinctions, son. I certainly can't argue with you when it comes to metal.

I'm not trying to make fine distinctions. I debated whether or not Scream Bloody Gore qualified, but decided it just made the cutoff to be considered death thrash, rather than just death metal (which it obviously also is). Deicide's debut is just a bit too far over the line IMO.
