Okay, so I finally finished the symphonic metal battle, and threw in two short ones for melodic metalcore and deathcore (A. just for "fun", and B. I needed two more battles to fill up slots for the final battle brackets). These will be the last battles I come up with.
Melodic Metalcore 1. Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing 2. Unearth - The Oncoming Storm 3. Trivium - Shogun 4. Parkway Drive - Killing with a Smile 5. All That Remains - The Fall of Ideals Deathcore 1. The Red Chord - Fused Together in Revolving Doors 2. Despised Icon - The Ills of Modern Man 3. The Black Dahlia Murder - Nocturnal 4. Suicide Silence - The Cleansing 5. Bring Me the Horizon - Suicide Season Symphonic Metal 1. Therion - Theli 2. Nightwish - Wishmaster 3. Septicflesh - Communion 4. Arcturus - La masquerade infernale 5. The Monolith Deathcult - Trivmvirate 6. Rhapsody - Symphony of Enchanted Lands 7. Emperor - Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk 8. Dimmu Borgir - Stormblast 9. Sigh - Hangman's Hymn 10. Diablo Swing Orchestra - The Butcher's Ballroom Edit: Oh, and I also finished the Wild Card list. Wild Card 1. Danzig - Danzig III 2. Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses 3. Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle 4. Burn the Priest - Burn the Priest 5. Anaal Nathrakh - The Codex Necro 6. Venom - Black Metal 7. Gridlink - Longhena 8. Akercocke - The Antichrist 9. Deafhaven - Sunbather 10. Lykathea Aflame - Elvenfris

Huh, I could have sworn I'd already used them for either metalcore or prog metal, but apparently not. I guess I could ditch either Parkway Drive or All That Remains... honestly don't care which. I know William digs Parkway, so I guess All That Remains can get the boot. I doubt anyone will shed too many tears.

My brain roots for Unearth, but heart betrays me to Trivium.
No, they're separate. I just saw no point in drawing those battles out any longer. Can you think of five more deathcore or melodic metalcore albums that you, let alone at least several other people on this site would want?
