It's one of the three albums tied to be voted off. Now might be that time.

Voting closes tomorrow, right? I'll be voting before then. I'm just listen to a few of the albums.

edit: Oh wait, it closes on Wednesday so I have a little bit longer to make up my mind.

I'll be voting too, not before I listen to them all again.

Ahh I see. I haven't heard half the albums on the list, so I guess it's time to listen to a lot of music I probably won't enjoy in order to make an informed decision.

Boris
Earth
Nadja
Teeth of Lions Rule the Devine

Some of this music I like more than I imagined I would. Other tracks though, like the half hour Earth track, I can't help thinking to myself 'get the **** on with it already'. Maybe I'm just shallow or impatient - I get that there's great beauty to be found inside the noise and the shifting harmonic beats. But I could always just turn on the vacuum cleaner for half an hour and groove out to that. For that reason I'm digging the albums in this list with more stuff happening.

I agree, but for me the best truly dron-y stuff (Earth, Boris, etc.), which IMO is Earth, definitely has some merit to it as well.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

The good thing about running the thread is that I can always sneak my votes in.

I changed my vote to allow more bands to continue on this round. Just because I didn't really care between the two I was debating.

9. Teeth of Lions Rule the Divine - Rampton
8. Nadja - Touched
7. Boris - Feedbacker
6. Jesu - Jesu
5. Khanate - Khanate
4. Naked City - Leng Tch'e
3. The Angelic Process - Weighing Souls with Sand
2. Sunn O))) - Monoliths & Dimensions
1. Melvins - Lysol

Vote 4 off. Vote ends February 6.
