If any of these ****ty mathcore bands deserves to win than it is Converge. I hate mathcore, but even I must confess converge is good.

Plus I'm assuming there is going to be a mass final battle with all the number 1 bands from each genre, so Converge on the list will be more entertaining

Some of this music I like more than I imagined I would. Other tracks though, like the half hour Earth track, I can't help thinking to myself 'get the **** on with it already'. Maybe I'm just shallow or impatient - I get that there's great beauty to be found inside the noise and the shifting harmonic beats. But I could always just turn on the vacuum cleaner for half an hour and groove out to that. For that reason I'm digging the albums in this list with more stuff happening.
