Sadly, unless the ghost of Cliff Burton comes a ridding in, I think this one's a wrap... so what do you have lined up next?

**** it, even if Briks and Ninetales were really voting off RIB, that would still leave the score tied, and Master of Puppets would lose the tie-breaker. So, I guess there's nothing left but to declare that...

Reign In Blood is the greatest thrash metal album of all time!

So, congratulations to Slayer for ruling so hard. Next up... trad metal. Just be thankful I didn't add Manowar. Or at least that I took them off five minutes later and replaced them with Mercyful Fate. You're welcome, you bastards.

Trad Metal Battle

1. Iron Maiden - Powerslave
2. Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance
3. Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
4. Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations
5. Saxon - Denim and Leather
6. Scorpions - Blackout
7. Motorhead - Ace of Spades
8. Dio - Holy Diver
9. Accept - Balls to the Wall
10. Mercyful Fate - Don't Break the Oath

So, vote 4 off. Polls end on January 31.

Scorpions - Blackout
Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
Dio - Holy Diver
Motorhead - Ace of Spades

I think you've got the wrong Saxon album up there, isn't Leather & Denim their primo classic? Time to check in with the unknown soldier on this one.

Mercyful Fate - Don't Break the Oath
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance
Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations
Iron Maiden - Powerslave

Side A of Wheels of Steel trumps anything on Strong Arm of the-... wait, Denim and Leather? I've never heard anyone call that their best. I'd say it's great, but I've always heard it between Wheels of Steel and Strong Arm of the Law. I made a judgement call.

He's obviously not familiar with what the word 'survivor' means.

Denim and Leather is actually their best and most accomplished album, but the others are still worthy of being on here.

I wouldn't have picked Blackout out either as two other Scorpions' albums trump this but Blackout by many is considered their classic.

Judas Priest- Screaming for Vengeance
Motorhead- Ace of Spades
Mercyful Fate- Don't Break the Oath
Scorpions- Blackout

I could actually possibly agree on Denim and Leather. It's got better songs than Strong Arm of the Law, and is more consistent than Wheels of Steel, though, other than "Crusader", Saxon never released any songs that could quite compete with "Motorcycle Man" or "Wheels of Steel". Still, the battle's already up, so I'll keep it as is.

And I've seen Blackout consistently called their best on any list I've ever seen. Not that I particularly give a ****.

Edit: Alright, **** it. I'll change Wheels of Steel to Denim and Leather.

[/I].
I'm sure I said the above as well in my reviews, that Wheels of Steel has the outstanding singles style tracks but its Denim and Leather that is the best song for song.

Don't know why Strong Arm of the Law gets the most critical love. I love Saxon, but that's still the weakest of their three classic-period albums.
