Alright, this is the last time time I'm gonna try metalcore before giving up and just putting Converge in the Wild Card battle. So this is next, for what it's worth.

Metalcore

1. Converge - Jane Doe
2. Poison the Well - The Opposite of December
3. Protest the Hero - Fortress
4. Unearth - The Oncoming Storm
5. Dillinger Escape Plan - Ire Works
6. Earth Crisis - Destroy the Machines
7. Integrity - Humanity Is the Devil
8. Botch - We Are the Romans
9. Snapcase - Progression Through Unlearning
10. Unbroken - Life. Love. Regret

I'm liking that list and wasn't participating in the thread first time it came around. So I'm in.

I'll tell you though, Earth Crisis is the first to go. I like them and all but I fond it very hard to get through a whole album without falling asleep. Converg, DEP, Botch, and Poison the Well on the other hand...

Could say the list could do with more Arkangel and Hogan's Heroes though.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I'd gladly throw out Earth Crisis, as I see them as just one of the more recognizable names in the genre (though I definitely dig them), as opposed to one of the best. Metalcore is just so maligned that I wanted to give it the best shot I could without resorting to **** like Trivium (who I still like, but in a Trivium kinda way, if that makes sense).

And do you dig Arkangel because I've spammed them or because you liked them before hand? ****, I've spammed them enough that I could include them anyway, so I might just drop Earth Crisis for Dead Man Walking. That is seriously the best metalcore album ever recorded. I just never heard anyone but me or anyone I've influenced talking about them.

I listened to a bit of it after you spammed it and thoroughly enjoyed them. Definitely trade those two records out.

Sorry bout that, only vote two off. I have that problem a lot. It's because I'm trying to rush things.

Also, I agree with Tristan, throw in the best albums, not the most well-known.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

Alright, sorry for the lateness, totally forgot about this thread for a little while. The Vanguardian Way is no longer the way to go. (Turisas is out, for you boring people.)

4. Moonsorrow - Verisäkeet
3. Primordial - To the Nameless Dead
2. Agalloch - The Mantle
1. Bathory - Nordland I

Vote 2 off. Vote ends January 7.
