Guys, don't base your votes on whether an album is a part of the genre or not. It's here, and it's not like it will be put in a different fight if we remove it.
Also, a quick argument on the other side: In spite of the album not having as much of a proggy feel as some of the rest of the albums, it shares their themes tenfold. The concept album-ness of the album as well as the recurring melodies make it into more of an opus, rather than a collection of songs, hence meriting the prog metal title.

Can't believe that we're saying Queensryche is one of the worst of these 6. Thankfully, it was tied with Between the Buried and Me in votes, and BtBaM has many more previous votes. So we're taking the color out of this battle. (I'm sorry.)
5. Voivod - Nothingface 4. Opeth - Blackwater Park 3. Death - Symbolic 2. Mastodon - Blood Mountain 1. Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime Vote 2 off. Vote ends December 5.

You all suck ass. BtBaM should have taken this battle. They are infinitely more interesting than god damn Opeth.

I second this, and agree. Can't decide between Colors and Blood Mountain though, so I'd be torn if I had to choose one or the other during the final vote.

I'd definitely go with Colors, but I wouldn't be too sad to see it lose to Mastodon. But I just can't forgive this forum for voting it off before... OPETH!!!
