Well, I've neglected nu metal and symphonic metal for obvious reasons, but I'm toying with the idea of including them, if only just for fun. They're still metal genres after all.

No desire to take much time with nu metal, so I'm only willing to give them a five album list:

1. Limp Bizkit - The Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water
2. Korn - Korn
3. Disturbed - The Sickness
4. Slipknot - Slipknot
5. Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

I left out Deftones and SOAD since I've already used their best albums for the alt metal battle. And if anyone thinks there are better albums than those five, I don't really care, as this is just a joke battle.

I'll come up with a symphonic metal list when I don't have to go to work in a few minutes.

I think it's insufferable that you guys don't take some genres seriously. I'd enjoy having a nu metal battle.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

I'll take a genre seriously when one of its leading bands isn't Limp Bizkit.

That Limp Bizkit album is probably better than most of the other terrible albums on there.

I seem to remember listening to "Rollin'" and "Break Stuff" a while back when posting joke Youtube vids, and they have potential as another uber-trashy band that I could dig. Still wouldn't take them seriously, obviously.

The only album of any worth on that list is the Korn debut.

Korn is obviously the victor here. Hybrid Theory is actually much worse than I remember it from when I listened to it just a few months ago.

Mushroomhead's nu-metal, right? I can't tell because they're not awful.

Do we really want actual good albums on the list? Isn't the end goal to have Limp Bizkit in the final rounds with Iron Maiden and Slayer?
