I agree but a few years is an eternity for radio friendly 80s metal. Appetite should at least have to go up against Hysteria, Girls Girls Girls, etc. rather than those bands' best, earlier music.

I could have used Hysteria, but Pyromania is generally considered to be the better album, and, seriously? Girls, Girls, Girls? You could have at least said Dr. Feelgood. Regardless, Shout at the Devil is still the better album.

I used Girls Girls Girls because it came out mid-1987 same as Appetite. I don't know it just seems like a slightly different era. And yeah of course Pyromania is better than Hysteria.

Well why would I want to snub a better album just cause they happen to fit a time period? The list is supposed to be the best albums, not the most temporally appropriate.

Hey I'm not trying to interfere with the process.

He doesn't like Iron Maiden and he's in Guns N' Roses. I'd say he has pretty **** taste in music. No wonder the girls like(d) him.

Lol, I'm just trying to get your goat.

If it comes down to Crue vs GNR, I'd most likely vote for the band that was heavily influenced by Sabbath as opposed to heavily influenced by Aerosmith.

I'd say they were both pretty influenced by Aerosmith, as were probably 99% of other glam bands.

And you're gonna have to try a lot harder than that to get my goat, you A&R wannabe hack.

Stylistically GNR leans much more to Aerosmith, I wouldn't even call them metal, they have more of a straight up hard rock sound. The Sabbath influence on Crue's first two albums is quite notable. In terms of glam I believe Crue was much more influenced by KISS.

Oh I'll find a way to get your goat, jk, I don't really care about record sales when I vote, if I did than the BJ would be my number 1.
