How can you vote off Electric Wizard this early on? Do you hate puppies and baby Jesus or something?

As Urban once said, they're a modern day Sabbath but without the songs.

It's not about the songs. It's about the crushing heaviness. Electric Wizard aren't about contemplation, they're about losing yourself in the distortion.

Well I have to vote somebody off and I happen to prefer most of the other albums there.

Like, even over My Dying Bride? I mean, they take ten minutes before they do anything worth listening to. After that it's all good, but they take so long not to suck. I only voted for diSEMBOWELMENT over them to keep the thread going.

See I really like that My Dying Bride album, even though I haven't heard it in a long time

I do too, but the first song could be half as long. It just goes and goes and goes. Kind of kills my desire to listen to the rest unless I skip it. It's like the first two tracks from Manowar's God of War, which is how I judge all albums that start off with self-indulgently long songs.

Because you're pressuring somebody else, it's gotta come back around.

How come you chose Celtic Frost over Katatonia?

My main problem with Monotheist is that there's no break. The album is almost constant heaviness, which I personally find lacking in creativity. Brave Murder Day is much lighter and easier on the ears, but there's also more variety with Katatonia. There's a bit of heaviness and a bit of lightness here and there, and the way it's spaced works perfectly in my opinion.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.
