The Edgar Broughton Band were an early Heavy Metal/Heavy Prog band with a pretty brutal vocalist, so I thought they'd be appropriate, but then I re-read the opening paragraph, and realized that this thread is more about modern Black Metal/Extreme bands. Heh, sorry 'bout that... but i'm glad that you liked them!

Do I think it's extra impressive? Sure. But I was blown away by how ****ed up her voice was long before I knew she was a chick.

nevermind it was Puritas Virginum but I guess I dont think they actually had kids as vocalists.

but they do have pretty fucked up vocals nonetheless
