Uh-oh. Frownland versus Lord Larehip, round one... Begin!

In all seriousness, please don't antagonize each other. I worked really hard to get OccultHawk to stop arguing with everyone about racist crap, and I don't want to see this thread turn into another battle royale. Let's spread love, people, not hate.

Yeah, let's all put on some uplifting music, and paint one another's nails, and read Maxim magazine.

Awesome! I'll turn on Sleepless in Seattle, and we can give each other foot massages while gorging on ice cream! But even if this party we're planning doesn't pan out, let's at least settle for not being overcompensating jerks towards each other. Friends?

I was just giving advice dude.

And Burzum is racist, ja, but the person and the artist are always viewed as two separate entities in my eye, so I'll continue listening to Burzum even though I don't see eye to eye with him on social issues.

It's all good. I guess I kind of overreacted. It's just that people make fun of Larehip every five seconds, and I kind of feel bad for the guy.

If you are going to write some decent lyrics why not sing them intelligibly?

Because it's not the point? His vocals capture the sorrow and rage of the lyrics beautifully.

I've been thinking about his vocals, and decided he's one of the best in extreme metal. Your average black metal vocals are already tough to do, but how the **** did he get his sound? I sure can't do that, I don't even know where I would begin. A few DSBM vocalists have come along and kind of mimicked it, but Varg will always be number one.

Pretty sure Varg is my favourite extreme metal vocalist. Not that I'm particularly well-versed in extreme metal, but still.
