Whoa, whoa, whoa! I've somewhat changed my opinion on Pantera, but I still don't see them as good enough to win the thread. But... Dream Theater? Really? I assumed that even you would recognize what a boring band they are.

So you like Pantera now?

To an extent. Cowboys from Hell is patchy, and their style wasn't developed enough, so it's often just mediocre, dumbed down thrash. After that they get progressively better, but they don't truly win me over till Far Beyond Driven. They're at their best when they throw melody to the wind and just go balls out.

Welcome back

There was a three way tie between WASP, Pantera & Anthrax but since WASP hardly had any votes in the previous rounds....

It's time for Pantera to take a walk, They're out! & Anthrax is no longer amongst the living, the first of the big four takes a fall! (One person accidently voted twice, ignored it in the tally)

25. Mercyful fate
24. Sepultura
23. Helloween
22. Guns N Roses
21. Skid Row
20. Aerosmith
19. KISS
18. Pantera
17. Anthrax

AC/DC
Alice Cooper
Black Sabbath
Def Leppard
Dio
Iron maiden
Judas Priest
Megadeth
Metallica
Motley Crue
Motorhead
Ozzy Osbourne
Scorpions
Slayer
WASP
Van Halen

Vote 4 off, the 2 with the most votes gets eliminated. Next round closes the evening of Sunday December 28th pacific time. Remember you can now just look at the original post to see when a new round begins. I edited it. My votes

Ozzy
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Dio

With Pantera gone, I feel like my work here is done, but here's my vote anyway:
