I don't know about anyone else but Johnny Hawkins has freaking incredible vocal range. Been a long while since I heard such range ...

Yeah. You need to remove the http://youtube. bit. All that you need in there is anything after v= (not including that) so if your link is like "youtube.com/watch?v=SDF67A, then all you need is the SDF67A part. Then it'll work. Putting the full link is means the system does not recognise it as a YT video.

Huge fan of Jonny and his vocal abilities.
Fun fact: he's more a drummer than a singer. Having been on the drum line in high school, his real passion is drumming, but when the band had trouble finding a singer that would stick with their original line up (with Jonny on drums, Mark on gee-tar and Dan on bass) he decided to take on singing himself. Sooooooooooooo glad he did. |

and Jenny is definitely one of my favorites from that album.. it's such a powerful song, and you can tell how personal it is to him. He wrote it about his sister's struggle with her addiction.
God Went North is also a powerfully strong one, about dealing with his mother's death. The lyrics to that song truly make me choke up. The first time I saw them live though, it was Mr. MTV that sold me on them. Such a message in that song.. <3 <3 Love me some NoMo. |
